Mini Soccer Program – Important Notice

Please be advised that this year’s Mini Soccer program will operate as an unsupervised program. All activities will be organized and conducted solely by parents and volunteer coaches.

There will be no convenor supervision present at the fields during scheduled sessions. We kindly ask all participating families to work cooperatively to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for the children.

Hello Soccer Community,

We are currently looking for Mini Soccer Convenors for our 2026 Tim Bits Mini Soccer Program (April–June 2026).

We cannot run this program without convenors, so we are asking our soccer families to please consider stepping into this important volunteer role.

Mini Soccer Convenor (or Co-Convenors) – Spring 2026 Season

This is a great opportunity to support our young players, connect with families, and help create a fun, organized, and positive soccer experience for everyone involved.

Main Responsibilities:

Put out nets Monday–Thursday evenings before games/practices and take them down afterward

Set out soccer ball bags and cones for each session

Oversee and supervise on the field during mini soccer nights

Serve as the main parent point of contact throughout the season

Assist with organization and planning of the Spring Carnival

You will receive guidance and support from the Spring/Summer Director throughout the season.

Whether you would like to take this on independently or partner with another parent as Co-Convenors, we welcome your involvement.

Season starts late April (weather permitting) until end of June. Days of play are Tuesdays and Thursdays with the occasional Sunday to accommodate scheduling. 14 game regular season (7 home, 7 away) plus 2 games at the WYSA Jamboree in June date: TBD. All players registering must return their Sturgeon Heights Spitfires team jersey to the club upon completion of the season.
