Indoor Mini Soccer will run from Oct 24th till Jan 23rd with no classes on Dec 26th and Jan 2nd. Sessions will be held on Saturdays from 12-2pm for the following age groups:
- U4/U5/U6 – 12pm to 1pm
- U7/U8 – 1pm to 2pm
Registration will be held at Sturgeon Heights community centre on Wednesday, Oct 14th 6-8pm and Saturday, Oct 17th 10-1pm. If you are not able to register during these dates, please stop by the community centre office to fill out an application before Oct 21st. Registration fee is $50 per child for the 12 classes.
There will also be a Winter session running Feb – April. Details for this session will be sent out closer to the date.
Registration will take place November 7, 2015. 1:00 – 2:30 at 210 Rita Street (Cash or Cheque only please)

Jackrabbits hockey is a program that teaches skating and hockey skills in a non-competitive environment. In order for children to best enjoy the Jackrabbits program, they should possess basic skating skills. Parents are reminded that this is not a “learn to skate” program.

SPORTS SPLASH CRAFTS
Come join us down at the Sturgeon Heights Community Centre this summer for some fun filled days! We are going to put the brand new splash pad to use, and have some fun in the sun.
We’re going to play all of your favorite sports and games like soccer and basketball. We take full use of our space inside and outside the facility.
Don’t forget to come down even on the rainiest of days because we have some fun arts and crafts to get done with you.
Spring Carnival – Wind Up!

For those of you that are new to Sturgeon Heights CC Spring Sport programs, the Carnival is a fun event that we host for all the of the kids that played out of our Community Centre. Our carnival this year will be equipped with face painting, tattoo station, 2 bouncers and some fun games. Each child and coach will be provided with a free hotdog, drink and freezie. The whole family is welcome to attend this fun filled event. Hotdogs and drinks will be available for purchase.
Since this is an event that is hosted at the Community Centre, we rely on volunteers to help contribute to its success. Please contact Barb @email@example.com to help.

During a Great Expectations session, you can expect to:
- have a chance to meet other parents,
- learn some fun ways to interact with your child,
- have the opportunity to ask questions about parenting,
- speak with a Public Health nurse about your baby’s growth and development, get your baby weighed and measured, and
- have a nutritious snack.
All prenatal women and parents of babies up to six months of age are eligible to receive coupons for 4 litres of milk per week. Bus tickets are available if assistance with transportation is needed. This program is free. For more information, please call Traci at 885-5415.
Children under the age of one stay with their parent during the session. Older children will be cared for by a qualified childcare provider. Please call one week prior to session if child care is required or if it is your first time attending.
*Please note, for safety concerns for the babies and others, hot beverages are not welcome in group. Thank you for your cooperation.
